Collegiate Spain has an opportunity for an Architect to join its team in Madrid. We are offering the chance to become part of our team, where the successful candidate will analyze the feasibility of business opportunities and oversee various phases of the development process. We are looking for an energetic team player to contribute across all projects within the office.

 

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Analyze opportunities from a technical and strategic point of view.
  • Study various urban conditions and gather relevant information for each case.
  • Prepare plans, documents and budgets indicating the aspect analyzed in the process.
  • Create presentations for the client and collaborators.
  • Work with architects and designers to ensure that the residence designs are functional, efficient, and aligned with the brand identity.
  • Ensure that designs and construction comply with all local, state, and building regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage the architecture, construction, engineering, and other teams involved in the project development.
  • Oversee the construction progress, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms for the project.
  • Collaborate in the development of an operational plan for the residence, including aspects such as building management, maintenance, and resident experience.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure that the residences are effectively promoted and filled with students.

·Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks within the development team.

·Be a positive team worker, supporting and inspiring those around you, being proactive in looking for opportunities to support your team.

Qualities and skills: 

  • Degree in architecture.
  • Over 3 years experience in the field working on a wide range of projects, with a particular focus on feasibility studies and development process.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and facility to analyze projects considering the urban regulations.
  • Experience working with clients, and consultants.
  • Good understanding and affinity with company design and requirement approach
  • Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and present for discussion
  • Ability to integrate the company requirements with architecture design.
  • Proficiency in various media in the development and documentation of projects
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and handle sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English; Italian is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in Autocad 2D
  • Proficiency in 3D software such as Sketch Up
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe creative suite
  • Experience in interior design is a plus.

 

Job Offer:
Permanent contract.


Full-time schedule from:

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (30min break).

Friday: 9:00 AM to 15:00 PM

Salary to be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
